Synacor Names Vice President for Information Technology
Veteran information technology professional joins Internet tools and portal company

(BUFFALO, NY) July 12, 2007 – Synacor has named Dallas Collet as vice president of information technology. Collet brings more than 17 years of information technology management experience to Synacor.
“Dallas is a savvy IT manager who possesses a wealth of skills and world-class experience that is proving to be a tremendous benefit for our company,” said Ross Winston, Synacor chief technology officer. “He has a great combination of strong technical skills as well as superior people skills that are well matched to our corporate culture.”
Collet served in a number of management IT roles for Hewlett-Packard and completed his tenure at HP directing a Global IT Architecture group. He also served as Global Director of IT for Proligo, Inc., and immediately before joining Synacor he owned and operated Armadillo Security.
He has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Colorado State University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Utah.
