Synacor, the country’s leading private-label provider of technology supporting the delivery of portals and bundled services, announced today that Robert Cavallari will serve as the vice president of finance for the company. Cavallari will spearhead Synacor’s fiscal initiatives.
He joins Synacor from TelCove, Inc., the leading provider of business critical telecommunications services to businesses, schools and governments, where he served as the director of accounting and was responsible for all facets of day-to-day accounting and finance functions. During his tenure at TelCove, Inc., Cavallari also played a significant role in fully integrating the acquisition of a 21 market telecommunications provider.
Prior to TelCove, Inc., Cavallari served as the vice president of Accounting for Adelphia Communications Corp., where he reconstructed the entire accounting department by implementing processes and controls to produce timely accurate financial information. Furthermore, he negotiated with vendors to outsource centralized telecom processing, resulting in the company’s initial savings of over $5 million in annual savings.
“Robert’s extensive hands-on experience in developing, launching and managing programs that improve profitability will be a strong asset to Synacor’s financial initiatives” said Bob Rusak, CFO, Synacor. “The knowledge and leadership he brings to the accounting department will help increase our company’s revenue.”
