Screaming Media and Synacor Partner To Provide Hosted Solutions For Service Providers and Small To Medium Businesses

Anheuser-Busch, Inc. and Harley-Davidson are first customers to receive ScreamingMedia’s robust content solutions through Synacor’s portal framework

(NASDAQ: SCRM), a leading global provider of content and technology solutions, and Synacor Inc., a provider of provisioning, messaging, collaboration and portal solutions, today announced an agreement to integrate ScreamingMedia’s technology and content into Synacor’s portal framework, providing service providers and small to medium-sized businesses with a complete end-to-end hosted portal and content solution. Through a variety of sales, marketing and technology initiatives, ScreamingMedia will promote Synacor’s portal and messaging services to its enterprise and service provider customers and in turn Synacor will deliver ScreamingMedia’s content feeds as an integral part of its portal solution.

Synacor’s hosted model enables the delivery of these solutions as supplementary service options to ScreamingMedia customers.


Synacor’s hosted portal solutions will feature ScreamingMedia content options including international, financial, entertainment and sports news. With more than 3,000 providers in its digital content network, ScreamingMedia can ensure that Synacor’s channel partners receive the general-interest or niche content perfectly filtered to their unique business objectives.
