RCN Launches New Fully Integrated RCN interACTION℠ Music Subscription Tier

PRINCETON, N.J. – RCN Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: RCNCQ.PK) announced the launch of an exciting new fully integrated online music subscription tier to its RCN interACTION? SM lineup. Starting today, RCN interACTION? SM Music will provide unlimited access to the digital music world’s largest library, offering more than 700,000 high-quality tracks from the world’s five largest music companies and hundreds of independent labels. RCN will use Synacor’s platform, Portelus, to roll out this new offer as a bundled-tier premium subscription-only service that can be added to customer’s RCN services without requiring separate billing by credit card.

Users can browse a wealth of music information about every artist, album and genre, and then stream or download songs to up to 3 PCs, build custom Internet radio stations or listen to professionally programmed stations. RCN customers can try the service for $1 for the first 30 days, and then can sign on for only $7.95 per month thereafter. This low monthly fee will be conveniently added to their monthly RCN bills.
