CHEK.com Teams With Staten Island Yankees

Chek has partnered with The Staten Island Yankees to provide free web based E-mail. The Staten Island Yankees are the minor leagueClass-A affiliate of the 1998 World Champion New York Yankees. Chek will power the E-mail service on www.siyanks.com, the officialweb site of the Staten Island team. Fans will now be able to obtain the personalized E-mail address of “YourName@siyankees.net”.

The Staten Island Yankees (formerly in Oneonta) are the newest member of the Yankees family and the first minor-league baseball team to ever play in New York City. They began their inaugural season in June 1999, as a member of the New York-Penn League. CurrentYankee stars Bernie Williams, Andy Pettitte and Jorge Posada all began their careers in this league.

Besides E-mail, the team’s web site is filled news and updates, box scores of recent games, ticket information, schedules, merchandise and a team roster.
