CHEK.com Launches Comprehensive Support Site

August 6th 1999

Chek, Inc. launched an extensive support site (support.chek.com) today to provide immediate answers to any question their E-mail users may have. The site is designed to reduce the confusion and wasted time that is often associated with searching through help sections.

The major benefit E-mail users will receive is that they will now be able to answer most of their questions by themselves. This will eliminate the typical delays associated with waiting for a support staff to E-mail back answers, which can take up to 24 hours.

The new Support Site simplifies the search process by giving the user three standard ways to locate information: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), Link Search and Keyword Search. The FAQ section answers the most common questions asked about Chek E-mail. The Link Search divides the site into eight broad categories and then gives in-depth information about each one. Finally, the Keyword Search is used to find information on any additional topics.

The site is equipped with Chek’s stunning visual graphics, which will make it easy for E-mail users to find their way around and get the information they need. This will be particularly beneficial for new users who are unfamiliar with sending and receiving E-mail. The site takes these new people by the hand and answers any questions or concerns they may have about E-mail. It will even help them to use and understand options that they probably did not know where available to them.

While being highly independent, the Support Site still provides ways for users to interact with Chek. It features a Feedback section where users can send coments or suggestions to anything else that they would like to see on the site.
