Atlantic Broadband Enhances Online Service with Multimedia-Rich Portal from Synacor

Customers’ homepages now feature improved user interface, video capabilities and convenient, centralized access to search, e-mail and content

(Buffalo, NY) January 7, 2008 – Synacor announced today that Atlantic Broadband has launched a new online customer portal that will expand and improve subscribers’ online and offline entertainment experiences.

The multimedia-enriched Web site, located at http://www.atlanticbb.net, lets Atlantic Broadband customers access videos, e-mail, Google search, even their TV listings and localized content from a single home page, which can be personalized. The new portal also provides more integration with and access to special promotions for the cable operator’s offline video and phone services.

Synacor has partnered with Atlantic Broadband to develop, power and manage the revitalized Atlantic Broadband customer site. The Atlantic Broadband portal features a customizable graphical user interface and Synacor’s proprietary single sign-on authentication technology.

To promote the launch of the revamped portal and the cable operator’s recent debut of high definition VOD service, Atlantic Broadband high-speed data subscribers can now access exclusive discounts and promotions for the new HD-VOD service via the portal for redemption offline.
